Infinity War's Post
The only thing we see after the mid-credits is a shot of the Avengers: Infinity War title turning into ash and blowing away. Except he starts to fade away, too, and right in the middle of letting out a trademark Samuel L. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the only way to reset Gauntlet shenanigans would be to possess the Gauntlet and use it against Thanos. Really, the only person whose powers even come close to hers is Thor.
Avengers: Infinity War's After
But ultimately, everyone who flaked away is coming back. D right hand woman, Maria Hill Cobie Smulders , neither of whom has appeared on the big screen since 2015's Age of Ultron, are driving through New York City. But it's probably safe to say she's been hanging out in space. Right in the nick sorry of time, too, because Fury himself turns to dust just as he successfully sends out a signal. However, as depicted in the end credits scene, half of Earth being wiped out plunges the half that's left into chaos.

The world is not in a great place, and Fury and Hill are left trying to puzzle through what's happening. Unlike Brie Larson's Carol Danvers was seen wearing on the set of Captain Marvel, the logo in Infinity War is her signature scheme of red and blue. The original cinematic Avengers, some whose actors are expected to retire from the franchise, remain alive when the movie ends on a cliffhanger. So the Infinity War post-credits scene is not only a tease about where the story is going; it also represents Marvel beginning to put the pieces in place for Phase 4 and beyond. Then he, too, crumbles into soot.
Avengers: Infinity War Has Only One Post
Perhaps more importantly: what exactly can Captain Marvel do in the face of a fully powered Infinity Gauntlet? Now 10 years later, Marvel Studios continues to use mid- and post-credits scenes to tease their upcoming films - and they've become an integral aspect of the moviegoing experience for Marvel releases. Yeah, Peter Parker's a superhero, but he's also a college kid working a minimum wage job to make rent while also taking university physics classes. Half the world gets wiped out and the villain, Thanos Josh Brolin , is victorious. Of course, plenty of questions remain. But yes, that damn ending.
A big mystery from the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ post
The pager falls to the ground and we see it apparently reach its contact, as the Captain Marvel insignia and signature colours flash on its little screen. Even though Fury and Hill may be dead for the time being, other agents should have survived the snap and could come in handy soon. Unfortunately, Hill is soon one of the victims of the snap, as she is wiped out of existence. In the comics, Carol Danvers is introduced as an officer in the Air Force. The End-Credits Scene: An eye-patched Nick Fury Samuel L. Eventually Nebula Karen Gillan steals the Infinity Guantlet and Thanos, now siding with the Avengers etc.

We still have no idea what organization Nick Fury and Maria Hill work for, and we expect Captain Marvel to tell us why Fury has been waiting for so long to activate that Captain Marvel beeper. As such, we know that the movie only contains - and it's all the way at the end of the credits, just like that first stinger accompanying Iron Man. What was that logo on the pager-thing in the end-credits scene? Though Infinity War deviates from Marvel's post-credits formula slightly by including only one stinger, rather than what's become the customary two, the movie's final moments give us the briefest glimpse of what's on the horizon. But she is being played by Brie Larson and will be introduced in the March 2019 film Captain Marvel. Erik Voss explains what happens in this scene and what it means for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
